BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - Members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have delivered various services and activities to the villagers of barangay New Gumiad in Dupax del Norte town.

Police Colonel Camlon Nasdoman, PNP Provincial Director, said the services and activities were given through their conduct of the PNP’s Revitalized KASIMBAYANAN Program (RKP) and the 5-Focused Agenda of their Chief, PNP.

The services and activities rolled out were feeding for 300 children, free haircuts for 50 residents, circumcision, distribution of 300 school supplies, 150 slippers, 100 food packs, medical and dental services, distribution of free medicines, and spiritual enhancement, which generally benefited 2,182 villagers.

“This activity was carried out so we can help our citizens who are in isolated and remote places. This is also a way to make the citizens lose their fear of the police and make the citizens feel closer to our police officers,” Nasdoman said.

He said the outreach activity is also aimed at ensuring their effective and efficient performance in the implementation of programs, projects, and activities to curb anti-criminality, anti-insurgency, and anti-illegal drugs that will contribute to the maintenance of peace and order and public safety.

Nasdoman said their activity was assisted and supported by the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU), Dupax del Norte Local Government Unit (LGU), Region 2 Trauma and Medical Center (R2TMC), Didipio Mines Corporation, Farmacia Solonio, National Support Units from the Regional Medical and Dental Team and Provincial Forensic Units, Nueva Vizcaya Officer’s Ladies Club (NVOLC), Dupax del Norte Police Station, and the 1st and 2nd Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Mobile Force Company together with their Company Advisory Group (CAG).
